Overview

This interactive youth art workshop brings young participants together to explore multimedia storytelling, traditional and contemporary craft techniques, and collaborative mural or canvas design. Guided by local facilitators, participants learn foundational artistic methods—such as acrylic painting, printmaking, or upcycled craft—while working on both individual keepsakes and a collective community artwork.

Step-by-step Plan

09:30 AM – 10:00 AM (Arrival & Icebreakers): Check in, get apron and name tags, and participate in a quick visual warm-up exercise to meet fellow participants.
10:00 AM – 11:00 AM (Technique Demonstration & Individual Project): Learn hands-on fundamentals (such as block printing, eco-dyeing, or mixed-media painting) and begin drafting individual artworks.
11:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Collaborative Community Piece): Break into small groups to contribute panels or sections toward a shared community canvas or mixed-media installation.
12:00 PM – 12:30 PM (Mini Gallery Walk & Wrap-up): Display the finished creations, take photos, share feedback in a group circle, and pack up dry pieces to take home.
