How this content is made
The ideas on idunno.ai are generated by AI models in response to what a user asked for, and are written to be original: the models are instructed to describe things in their own words rather than reproduce text from any source. When a model consults the web while writing, we show the pages it used under the idea, so you can see where the underlying facts came from. Facts themselves — titles, authors, years, prices, where to watch or buy something — are stated plainly and are not claimed as ours.
Names of films, books, shops, products and brands appear only to describe or refer to the real thing. We claim no ownership of them, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by their owners.
Despite that, a generated page can still end up too close to someone else’s work. If you believe something here infringes your rights, tell us and we will deal with it.
Reporting something
Email contact@idunno.ai and include:
- the URL of the page on idunno.ai you’re reporting;
- what it infringes — the work you hold rights in, with a link or a copy, and enough detail that we can compare the two;
- who you are: your name, and whether you are the rightsholder or acting on their behalf;
- contact details we can reply to;
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the rightsholder or the law, and that the information in your notice is accurate.
You don’t need a lawyer or a particular format — a clear email is enough. Notices sent in bad faith, or that misrepresent who holds the rights, may make you liable for the resulting damage.
What we do about it
We aim to acknowledge every notice within a few working days and to act on a well-founded one promptly — normally by removing the page. A removed idea is taken out of the public galleries, the feed and the sitemap, and it cannot be re-published by someone saving it again. We’ll tell you what we did, and if we think the report is mistaken we’ll explain why rather than simply ignoring it.
If we removed something of yours and you believe that was wrong, reply to the same address and ask us to reinstate it, explaining why. Takedowns are reversible.
Our own content
The idunno name, logo, and the application itself are ours. If you want to use them beyond ordinary linking and quotation, please ask.
